Hello This is a great little tool but I just have an issue with it I'm afraid.
The Sync from SharePoint to the local drive works ok, its the sync from the local drive to the SharePoint that doesn't. It looks to be doing work and sais complete but the files are not present in the on line site.
We have Kerberos and only fail back to NTLM could that be causing this?2 votes
this seems like a great tool.
Any chance you're going to add http support for automatic uploading of files. Server to local works just fine, local to Server does not currently work in our environment (possible because of lack of http support in our intranet). Thanks1 vote
It would be great to sync manually and not automatically3 votes
Great idea. For internal testing, the list of changes is already generated, but not visible to the user. I will look how to visualize that. To disable auto sync, you can open the SPSync.exe.config file (in the install folder) and change the AutoSyncInterval to the max value of 2147483647 minutes. That should be more then enough to never sync automatically again.
I choose overwrite local changes instead of overwrite remote changes, why it will delete files from SharePoint server. it create headache to me now. :(6 votes
I have a document library with a lot of sub-folders and files, but I just want to sync the files underneath one of the sub-folder. Can it be implemented?7 votes
I've had issues when i create a file locally, then i am not able to sync it to sharepoint because i don't have contribute rights on the sharepoint list(this is intended).
When i delete the file again locally, i get errors because the file doesn't exist.
So i tried uninstalling and installing again, but all settings i made previously were still there and i still got those errors.1 vote
The next version will have a new installer. I will add this to the uninstall options.
The tool looks very promising, but i would like to enable syncing just from sharepoint to local drive.1 vote
