so it would be able to run automatically after computer starts up, without worrying which user is logged in.3 votes
Thanks for the great app.
Just a problem about deleted folders:
When i delete a folder (synced with spsync) and some moments later i delete it (its appear) deleted on my computer but not in sharepoint , on sharepoint and all other post the folder is always here
But all files and subfolder of this folder has been deleted (its ok) on sharepoint , but not the main folder (folder who have click to delete)
So we keep deleted folder name on sharepoint server (and normaly this folder must be deleted too on sharepoint).
Best regards.1 vote
Thanks for creating and sharing such a neat little tool, for smaller collections of files it works like a dream. However, I can't seem to get it to upload a large collection of files. I'm trying to upload about 8GB but it just sticks on 'Analyzing' I've left it running for hours and even over night but no success. Is there anything I can do to make it work?
Let's describe an Issue: Sharepoint can't hande some characters, as an example the & symbol. You can't create a file with an & in it's name in sharepoint.
Some people don't know that and it get's always forgotten.
Now the situation with SPSync. When you create a file in the local folder with a & in it's name, it won't be shown on the sharepoint site.
It would be really nice if you could make some error reports for that.
I have a document library with a lot of sub-folders and files, but I just want to sync the files underneath one of the sub-folder. Can it be implemented?20 votes
I've had issues when i create a file locally, then i am not able to sync it to sharepoint because i don't have contribute rights on the sharepoint list(this is intended).
When i delete the file again locally, i get errors because the file doesn't exist.
So i tried uninstalling and installing again, but all settings i made previously were still there and i still got those errors.1 vote
One of the next versions will have a new installer. I will add this to the uninstall options.
